Our Underage Robins had three competition games last weekend in Annacotty with our U14s, U17s and U18.5 all out in action. The U18.5s boys kicked off the underage games again this week with their second game vs Clanwilliam RFC on Sunday. 360…. the number of days since the last and only league outing and things have certainly, finally come full circle for these young lads…. In the sunshine of Annacotty, UL Bohemian RFC welcomed a fiery Newcastle West side for this fixture which proved to be spicy, peppered with two sides who went toe to toe from start to finish. UL Bohemian RFC 2nd Women’s Team play a Friendly opening season game against Shannon RFC.

In a pre-season friendly against Shannon and fielding our first ever women’s 2nd development team our Robins were very convincing and entertaining in a strong display of open Rugby at the 4G on Friday evening, It was refreshing to see such skills and ball handling by a team most of whom had never played together and after such a lay-off due to Covid. UL Bohemian RFC U20s come away with their second win in the Munster U20s League

Boh’s opened the scoring after an excellent individual break from well inside the their 22 from outhalf Oisin Fagan that was dotted down a few phases later by Brian Murphy, Fagan added the extras making it 7-0. Straight off the restart Sean Carolan made another massive break up the middle of the Ennis defence with some great support play Darragh Long scored in the corner to leave it at 12-0. On Friday last the ULBohemian golf classic took place in Castletroy Golf Club. 53 teams set out to conquer the course, and some certainly did just that…it’s time to announce our 6 prize winners But apart from the golf, the day was a great opportunity for all “robins” past and present to catch up for the first time in quite a while. After a busy summer for our Women’s representatives on Munster Rugby Women’s team they come away with a unbelievable win over Leinster rugby last Saturday. Huge congratulations to all our Red Robins involved both players on the overall squad and management. Our Baby Robins had three competition games last weekend with our U13s, U15s and U18.5 all out in action over the last week. The U18.5s boys kicked off the underage games early at 10:30am with a game against Nenagh Ormond RFC U18.5 in Castletroy College on Sunday. The team fought hard but was unlucky losing to a strong Nenagh Ormond Team 36 – 7. Next out on Sunday was our U15s boys team way to Young Munster RFC U15 in Derryknockane at 11:30am. UL Bohemian Senior Men Qualify for Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup Quarter finals 2021-22 After a Hard Battle against Dolphin RFC

UL Bohemian Senior Men team kicked off the opening game vs Dolphin RFC in Annacotty last Saturday 11th September and it started off as it meant to continue a hard battle. It took us 19 minutes to get on the score board with Harry Byrne slotting a penalty to make it 3 -0. Garryowen 11 UL Bohemian 12 North Munster U20.5 League On a wet night UL Bohemian U20.5 side began their season with a fantastic win away to Garryowen. In what was a first outing for the squad they showed great character to come back from being down to 13 men for a share of the second the half to come away with the win. Last weekend saw our underage fully return to Annacotty for training and it was truly so nice to see so many of our baby robins back on the pitches on Sunday. No matter where you looked there was kids running around, laughing, kicking rugby balls, tackling and just overall having great fun with their friends. We will be back in Annacotty again this coming Sunday and we are always welcoming new members.
