Our Underage Robins had two competition games & one friendly game last weekend with our U13s, U15s and U18.5 all out in action.
The U13 played their 3rd match of the season on Sunday morning in Clarisford Park & in good conditions, against a well organized Ballina/Killaloe side.
The game was evenly balanced throughout with each side scoring 3 tries and 1 conversion. The final score was a draw -17 points each.
The UL Bohs boys really enjoyed the game and are looking forward to the Pat Lawler tournament this coming Saturday 2nd October.
Our U15s Won 30 – 3 at home to Bruff RFC
Our u18.5s hosted Thurles/Cashel in Annacotty on Sunday in their final warm up game before the PAN Munster Competition commences next weekend.
After a slow start UL Bohs came into the game and out scored their opponents 3 tries to 1 in the first half. This was a really entertaining and evenly matched game that saw both sides produce great line breaks.
Thurles/Cashel probably edged the breakdown area with UL Bohs performing well in the line out and set piece facet of the game.
Best wishes to the Thurles/Cashel player who picked up an injury in the second half, hopefully he has a quick recovery.
