UL Bohemian Eimear Considine has been selected in the Women’s Six Nations Team Of The Championship.

The Team Of The Championship was selected by supporters with over 80,000 votes cast on social media. Eimear scored two tries in this year opening game vs Wales in the Women`s Six Nations. Eimear is joined by fellow Munster star Dorothy Wall & two international colleagues Cliodhna Moloney and Beibhinn Parsons in the Team of the Championship UL Bohemian RFC want to congratulate Eimear on this great achievement along with her Munster and Irish colleagues.

Munster Rugby and the IRFU confirm that former UL Bohemian RFC Chair and Director of Rugby Ian Costello has been appointed to the role of Greencore Munster Rugby Academy Manager

Ian Costello returns to the province after working in England for the past five years. Since 2018 he has held the role of Defence Coach with Wasps Rugby and prior to joining the Premiership side he was the Head Coach of Championship club Nottingham Rugby. With a wealth of experience across numerous coaching roles, Ian initially worked with the province’s academy in 2006 when carrying out his role of IRFU Elite Player Development Officer for two years. UL Bohemian RFC wish Tommy O’Donnell the very best with his retirement from professional rugby at the end of the season.

Tommy started in Clanwilliam FC & then lined out for UL Bohemian RFC in the AIL before he made his Munster debut against Scarlets in 2007 as a 20-year-old Academy player & then went on to make 186 Munster appearances since his debut and earned 13 caps for Ireland. Tommy was named as Greencore Munster Rugby Academy Player of the Year in 2009 and Munster Rugby’s Player of the Year in 2013, he also featured in two 6 Nations-winning campaigns for Ireland. We are very proud of our UL Bohs Under 6’s and Under 7’s players and their recent involvement in reaching out to our local community, to spread happiness during these hard times. Our wonderful under 6’s and under 7’s decided as the youngest members of the rugby club, they would like to support the elderly members of our community during these difficult times that we are all facing. To support the continuous improvement in the level of coaching and training experience for our UL Bohs underage players, we have directed funds collected as part of the Your Club Your Country draw.  The funds from Your Club Your Country have been used to purchase specialised top of the range RHINO rugby equipment.
