UL Bohemian women go top of All Ireland Div 1 League with a convincing win over Old Belvedere.

A beautiful Autumnal afternoon was added to by very entertaining game of Rugby between two top club teams in AIL Div1.The opening score of the game following a five-metre scrum from the Belvo line when Sarah Quin gathered and crashed over. Another try was then scored by scrum half Courtney Duhig on 17 minutes.  A great amount of open and skilful play resulted in full back Aoife Corey making a solo run and went in under the posts for the third try with Nicole Cronin adding the conversion. The 4th and bonus point try was scored by Chloe Pearse. Before the break player of the game Nicole Cronin converted her own try. Looking good for the Robins.

Belvo had other ideas Ailbhe Dowling had the first score for the visitors which was converted by Gemma Farrell.  HT Score:   UL Bohs  29   Old Belvedere  7.

Shortly after the restart Stephanie Nunan touched down for try number six for the home side. Coming into the last quarter another great score by Helen McDermott. But never giving up Old Belvedere upped a gear which resulted in their second try scored by Lesley Ring. This was quickly followed by their third try this time by Claire Gorman. However in the last minute the Robins were not finished yet when Irish Captain Ciara Griffin crossed to bring the total tries to eight and another conversion by Nicole.

Final Score:  UL Bohemians 46   Old Belvedere 17.
