3 UL Bohs Women’s Players Named In Women’s Six Nations – Ireland V Wales

Ireland will be captained by our very own Ciara Griffin this Saturday April 10th, in the opening game of the Women’s Six Nations 2021 Championship campaign. The match will take place at Cardiff Arms Park, kicking off at 5pm. This will be live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, with Griggs’ starting XV showing three changes to the side that beat Italy at Energia Park last October.

The team also features two more of our UL Bohs robins, Eimear Considine and Enya Breen. Considine will be returning to the full-back jersey, as one of the three changes in personnel from the victory over Italy last time out and Enya Breen on the bench providing the additional backline cover.

We are incredibly proud of Ciara, Eimear and Enya who have been named in the Irish squad for Wales this weekend. The competition has been a long time coming. The discipline, work ethic, and resilience shown by these girls, as well as many others, has been remarkable. Make sure you tune in on Saturday and give them your full support.
