Give it a Try – Girls Rugby Camp

As a Club we are delighted to be part of the Canterbury Give It A Try camps that will run for 8-weeks. Kicking off on Tuesday 3rd August at 7:30pm in Annacotty the 8 week camp is for girls aged 8-14 years to learn how to play rugby in a fun environment. The programme consists of a coach education element, fun rugby sessions, teaching the girls the basics of rugby. We had all age groups in today and what a day !  After four months of level 5 lockdown all members of the club where delighted to get back, not sure who was more excited parents or kids ?  “The weather made for a special day , which was kicked off at 9am by our U6’s / U7’s. Our Underage Players Supporting Our Elderly Community With Care Packs

We are very proud of our UL Bohs Under 6’s and Under 7’s players and their recent involvement in reaching out to our local community, to spread happiness during these hard times. Our wonderful under 6’s and under 7’s decided as the youngest members of the rugby club, they would like to support the elderly members of our community during these difficult times that we are all facing. To support the continuous improvement in the level of coaching and training experience for our UL Bohs underage players, we have directed funds collected as part of the Your Club Your Country draw.  The funds from Your Club Your Country have been used to purchase specialised top of the range RHINO rugby equipment.
