Our Give it a Try Night Kicks off tomorrow night – Monday 9th at 6:30pm – 7:30pm The programme is designed to introduce young girls from 10 to 16 years to rugby. The Give a Try programme is kicking off on the 4G North Campus the 8 week camp is for girls aged 8-16 years to learn how to play rugby in a fun environment.The programme consists of a coach education element, fun rugby sessions, teaching the girls the basics of rugby. This weekend sees our two Senior teams on the road. The Senior XV travel to Rainey Old Boys in Magherafelt for their fixture, Saturday at 2:30, while the ladies travel to Old Belvedere for the last of the WAIL Top4 fixtures at 5:00pm Under 20’s travel to Highfield for their fixture in the Donal Walsh at 2:30pm, while our Thirds play Gleeson league against Listowel Our Women’s 2nd teams travel to Skibbereen on Sunday. This weekend’s fixtures kick off with our 18’s playing Mallow under lights on Friday at 8:15pm in UL, based on last weekend’s performance, should be an excellent game. The highlight of Saturday’s action see the women take on their nemesis Railway Union on the 4G at 2:00pm. This has all the makings of a thrilling match as we come to the latter part of the Top 4 section of the competition. Former Ireland captain Briggs joins Greg McWilliams’ Coaching Team as preparations for the 2022 Championship begin this weekend with a National Screening Camp at the IRFU High Performance Centre. UL Bohemian RFC Club will make history next weekend with the club fielding a U20s team, AIL Men’s team, AIL Women’s Team and a 2nds Women’s team all in the one weekend.
